Reverend Beth Gray

Mrs Takata trained 22 Reiki Masters between the early 1970's and her death in 1980. Among them were the Reverend Beth Gray and her husband John Harvey Gray.

It is believed that Reverend Gray was the first person to open and operate a Reiki Center in the Continental United States. The Trinity Metaphysical Reiki Center, opened in the mid 1970's still operates today and is the longest running Reiki Center in the United States.

Reverend Gray brought Reiki to Australia in 1983. In addition to the many students she trained she also trained two Reiki Masters, Barbara McGregor in Sydney and Denise Crundall in Melbourne. You can visit Barbara's website here.
